How can I use a wheelchair?

You can bring your own wheelchair or request a wheelchair from the airline. Both options are free of charge. However, both options must be requested and confirmed. Please note that there is a difference between manual and electric wheelchairs. With both you are allowed to drive up to the airplane, there your wheelchair will be taken out and transported to the cargo luggage area of the airplane. In the case of electric wheelchairs, the batteries must be transported separately and the poles must be properly secured. You can always let us know your request at the time of ticketing and we will take care of the rest. As with other issues, a timely request is very important here.
